Human Capital Category

This category includes three immigration streams linked to Express Entry and allows Ontario’s immigration system to search the Express Entry pool for candidates. These include;

The Human Capital Priorities Stream is intended for individuals with the necessary skills to live and work in Ontario. These people have completed their Express Entry profiles and have over 400 CRS points to show for it.

French-Speaking Stream is intended for students who have completed level 7 of the Canadian Language Benchmark in French.

Skilled Trades Streams is ideal for someone with a minimum of 12 months of work experience in one or more skilled trades in Ontario.

Aside from these three primary immigration streams on how to immigrate to Ontario, there are two additional for students that come under the Human Capital Category, both of which were developed for international candidates who have graduated from respective tertiary institutions in Ontario and want to get a Canadian visa. Among these student streams are the following:

Master’s Graduate Stream for anyone with a master’s degree who does not need to build an Express Entry profile or have a job offer.

Ph.D. Graduate Stream for any graduate student who does not need to build an Express Entry profile or has a job offer.

Employer Job Offer Category

If you have a job offer from an Ontario firm, this OINP category is for you. There are three immigration streams in this category, which include the following:

Foreign Worker Stream is one of the most acceptable alternatives for someone looking to work in a skilled position at National Occupational Classification (NOC) level 0, A, or B. This program also requires you to graduate from a tertiary program with a qualification within the last two years of applying.

International Student Stream is another viable choice for anyone seeking a skilled position at National Occupational Classification (NOC) level 0, A, or B. This program also requires you to graduate from a tertiary program with a qualification within the last two years of applying.

In-Demand Skills Stream is an immigration option for someone who has a work offer in an in-demand occupation in Ontario or their preferred province.

Business Category

If you want to establish your own business or invest in a Canadian one, one of the following two programs in the business area might be appropriate for you:

Corporate Stream permits immigrants with an overseas business to bring it to Ontario or buy an existing one.

Entrepreneur Stream is for anybody looking to start a new business or purchase an existing Canadian firm in Ontario or their home province.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

The FSWP is ideal for talented professionals from other countries who desire to immigrate to Canada. The program was first designed to boost the economy by filling the vacancies left by Canadian citizens retiring in the coming years. The FSWP was required to satisfy the economy’s demands and the continual desire for expansion.

How to Immigrate to Ontario

How Do I Qualify For Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)?

To qualify for the FSWP, you must score at least 67 points. Your application will be processed quickly because the program is administered via the Express Entry system.

Once you’ve completed your FSWP application, you’ll need to construct an Express Entry profile, which will be assessed again, but this time under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
